CADGIVING EMPLOYEE FUNDRAISING AT SINULOG

Cadgiving – Employee Fundraising at Sinulog

“It is when you give of yourself that you truly give.”

One of the best thing that you can do is to help a friend or family member whose in need.. Whether they are in need of support for unexpected medical cost, legal costs, business cost or maybe they are just in need of money to achieve and save something. Fundraising campaigns are amazing because it’s not only giving us a feeling of love and support , it can be life-changing for the one in need.

We have heard of people raising funds on behalf of friends and family members in need will usually begin a campaign without them knowing and that is what makes it amazing. We let our love and support to be the way to help. Part of the reason for the success of campaigns such as these is the excitement around raising money for someone that doesn’t know what’s being done behind the scenes to help. Cadsourcing employees experienced this as we help our colleague in times of trial.

Loida Mae Abellanosa is one of Cadsourcing’s finest drafters who has been with the company for more than 3 years now and happens to have an aunt who was diagnosed with a serious medical condition. As employees who believe in the the company’s culture and core value of DieHard Service, we wanted to help her by donating blood for her aunt, collecting personal monetary donations from all the drafters, matching donations from the company and of course including a fundraising activity last January, during

the Sinulog Festival, a feast for Snr. Santo Niño, the Patron Saint of Cebu, Philippines. The fundraising activity included selling bottled water for the crowds and also, some of our more artistic team members offered henna tattoos to the attendees for a donation towards the cause.

We helped our friend because we knew, it’s not easy. That is what Cadsourcing is about, Teamwork is the key! Whether it comes to the projects, deadlines and even in our personal lives.  In this time of need, our colleagues do not have have to feel like they are alone and we are happy to ease their burden even if only a little bit.

“Individual commitment to a group effort–that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.”
    –Vince Lombardi
